SolidWorks 2003 Warning

SolidWorks 2003 Warning

SolidWorks 2003 Warning

(OP)
I talked to our VAR on 11/12/2002 about us installing SolidWorks 2003 SP 0.0 in a production mode.  Installing SolidWorks 2003 SP 0.0 was a bad idea. We are having a lot of problems from hiding lines to relocating our calloutformat.txt file onto the network and etc. On the other hand, I think the improvements are worth it.  SolidWorks will fix the issues by the next service pack, I am sure. If you are weak at heart, wait to upgrade until SP 1.0.

RE: SolidWorks 2003 Warning

Hello,

Just some additional information, some of you may already know this, but just in case...

SolidWorks has a bug list in their website called "known software problems", it lists the problems with SolidWorks 2003 SP0.0 that will be fixed in SolidWorks 2003 SP1.0.

If any of these problems will critically affect your work, you may want to wait for SP1.0.

At my place we are happy with SP0.0, and have not encountered any problems, but this might not be the case for all users.

cheers,

Joseph
