Plotting in NX8

Plotting in NX8

Plotting in NX8

(OP)
Hi all,

we have just moved from NX7 to NX8 (NX8.0.3.4 mp9, 64bit).
Accidentally we saw that arcs with big radius (300-1000meter) are plotted incorrectly (see attached picture). There is no problem still to plot the same drawings with NX7. Also there is no problem to plot from NX8 to any existing laser printer (HP, Kyocera). Maybe there is some trick/switch in NX8 to fix this problem?Our plotter is HP Design Jet 510 24'' (with newest drivers). It is connected directly to my PC (win 7 64bit) via LPT port. We use the same plotting setting as used for NX7, but I did not find any difference in setting plotters both in NX7 and NX8.
Any advice will be welcome.
Thank you.

RE: Plotting in NX8

Hello ;)

Please set the following variables in your ugii_env_file

UGII_SDI_HPGL1_REVERT=1
UGII_SDI_HPGL2_REVERT=1

I hope these variables should solve the problem with the arcs.

Best regards from Austria!
