ASME Y14.5 1994 GD&T Datum Orientation - NX7.5?

ASME Y14.5 1994 GD&T Datum Orientation - NX7.5?

ASME Y14.5 1994 GD&T Datum Orientation - NX7.5?

(OP)
We are running NX7.5 with GD&T version ASME Y15.5-1994 used on our drawings.

Up until fairly recently placing the datums on a drawing detail has been fairly easy to do. We prefer the datum feature frame in the horizontal orientation, but have encountered a problem recently.

On the two drawings that come to mind I am attempting to place the vertical edge/surface datum feature frame and I cannot get the symbol to place horizontally no matter what preferences/styles I try to manipulate.

I have come to this forum to seek advice on what we may be missing that will not allow us to get the end result we desire. Any help here would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,
Gary

RE: ASME Y14.5 1994 GD&T Datum Orientation - NX7.5?

You say you didn't have this problem in the past, correct? What has changed since you last were able to do this? Have you installed an update recently, either an MR or an MP? If so, have you contacted GTAC and asked them about this problem?
