STAAD Load Case Error

STAAD Load Case Error

STAAD Load Case Error

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm a civil undergrad working on a project in STAAD. I've been given dead, live, and roof loads for a multistory structure, and I'm trying to analyze it, but I'm getting an error message:

**ERROR - FINISH COMMAND IN LOAD DATA
CHECK IF ANALYSIS COMMAND IS OUT OF ORDER OR MISSING IN CASE NO. 3
CHECK DATA ORDER CAREFULLY

Load Case No. 3 is my Roof Live load, so I assumed the error is present there. I've entered all loads as floor loads. I've also gotten a Note from the Output file about one-way distribution/floor/area loads, but I've tried using one-way distribution to no effect.

Does anyone know what to do about this? I have examples of other STAAD files with multistory structures where the loads were entered the same way, and STAAD found no errors.

Here's a link to a screenshot I took of the model and the load case description for Roof Live. http://i61.tinypic.com/302pe82.jpg

Thanks for your help!

RE: STAAD Load Case Error

It could be a number of items; commands missing, commands out of order, something simple as a spelling error. I couldn't tell you without looking at the STAAD input.
