Does anyone know how to convert .dwg files to .gif. I am using autocad 2002 and am trying to make my files move such as gears or engines (cut away to show the internal parts. Is there a converter that will convert .dwg to .gif?? Or maybe I don't necessesarily need .Gif but can use something like .Jpg ???  Thanks, Chris

RE: .dwg to .gif

I was able to export a .dwg to a .bmp file (AutoCad 2000).  I then opened the .bmp with MS Paint.  MS Paint will allow you to save a drawing in either .gif or .jpg formats.

Hope this helps, Fred

Hi

You can always use "Print Screen" button in Windows to copy any graphics of the screen to clipboard (Alt+PrintScrn copyes only the active window) and paste ii to any graphic program.
