Bell Design / Acoustics

Bell Design / Acoustics

Bell Design / Acoustics

(OP)

Does anyone know of a program or method to design bells given input such as major dimensions, material properties, desired fundamental frequency, etc.  A program which would output the profile as a set of data points would be ideal, but a graphical or numerical method would work as well.  These bells will be used on board ships and the like, so exact tuning of the harmonics is not necessary.

Thanks,

Mike

RE: Bell Design / Acoustics

The Acoustical Society has over 29 papers on bells and bell design, but you have to be a member to see the papers.
