Dear Friends,

I done procedure qualification for piping with P No.1 & G No.1 materialas per section IX.In my project i am have P No.1 &
both G no.1 & 2.Impact test is essential in my project.While got the approval for final WPS,I mentioned both G no.1&2 and got approved.

Question No.:1
1. Is G no. is essential variable,if impact test mandatory( as per section IX) ?
2. for the above condition,what is the given in AWS B31.3?


now problem is,i done welding in both G no.1 & 2 material,with the supporting PQR which is qualified in G no.1.Client now asking me to do requalification by considering G no. as essential variable.

I am in big trouble,i cant do requalification,because project almost completed.Please advise me,how can i get the weavier for this problem.
Is it possible by doing production harness test in all jonits to slovethis issue? or any thing said un B31.3 to colse the issue?

Please advise me.urgent.
