My question to the dear forum members :
As the vehicle rolls over the ground, the dynamic forces experienced at the tire road interaction is transmitted to the wheel rim. Tire is resembling linear and side springs. The properties of the tire are closely guarded proprietary information. Here I am interested to learn if the tire will act as isolator or amplifier for the ground reaction forces on to the rim. Any reference material regarding the tire transmisibility properties will be of help to me. Thanks in advance.

My personal opinion is that the general loads seen by the rim are very small compared with the abuse loads.
