PGP File

(OP)
I am using an Autocad 2000i,How can I make the system
read the PGP File? Some of the aliases in the PGP file works and some are not.I tried a command ""reinit" and click the PGP File but still not working.

Can anyone help me how to make the aliases(PGP File) active because I still love to use keyboard shortcut commands because it exercises my hands.

Thanks,
Ellie

RE: PGP File

Make sure that any alias you place in the PGP file is not "overwritten" by another entry in the file. Duplicate entries can be overwritten by another entry with the same shortcut in the file.

RE: PGP File

I'd first make sure that the file is named ...
"ACAD.PGP".
Sometimes when people edit the PGP file, mistakes can be made where the file is renamed or the DOT between ACAD and PGP is misplaced or LOST.

Also make sure under "options" > "Search Path" that your folder "Where Your PGP sits in" is the first folder in the tree. Otherwise ... other folders that have a PGP file above your folder will override your PGP file.

Hope that helps.
Rich
