RE: Weld Electrode Recommendations

1. E7018 or E71T-1M or Equivalent
2. INCO 82 and Equivalent

Shop or field application????

RE: Weld Electrode Recommendations

For item 1, you could also use E8018-B2 or E9018-B3 or equivalent. The long time at the required holding temp will lower the strength of the E7018 and E71T-1M weld deposit but no where near below the specified minimum yield strength of the SA-516 Gr70 ring.

SMAW process and E8018 B2 for (1). Inco 182 for (2).
