I am trying to open drawings from GM that were supplied to my company. The software that I am using to open and view the drawings is missing fonts therefore, a lot of the annotation on the print is missing or is illegible. If someone could please upload the following font for me to download so I can view these drawings, that would be greatly appreciated.

RE: UG Fonts

Perhaps it is your viewer that cannot interpret the NX fonts correctly? The fonts you list are specific to NX, using their font definition. These are not the same as true type or open type font definition.

I know they are specific to NX, the viewer I am using (Oracle AutoVue Electro-Mechanical) just didn't include them. I spoke with support from Oracle and they told me I need to get the font file from someone who uses NX. Is there an actual file for these fonts in the NX installed folders?

RE: UG Fonts

Attached is a zip file containing the requested fonts. BTW, I find it odd that you don't already have 'blockfont' since this has been the UG/NX default for over 30 years. Are you sure that you're not confusing it with 'blackfont'? Just in case, I've included it as well.

Thank you John. Yeah it seems odd but when I open the drawing, blockfont, poster, and leroy are the three missing font resources.

RE: UG Fonts

Just put the fonts John supplied in the Oracle font directory and the drawings opened perfectly. Thank you so much. If come across any other missing fonts I know where to come.

RE: UG Fonts

If you have NX at your company, then you have the fonts someplace.

Looslib - We don't have NX at my company, we use SolidWorks. That's the reason I am using this Oracle software to view these drawings.
