SW 2014 Sketch inference points

SW 2014 Sketch inference points

SW 2014 Sketch inference points

(OP)
In Sketch mode, when I place the cursor along a line, why would the midpoint relation inference not pop up?
Also, how do I place <x> number sketch points evenly spaced along a curve? or just at the midpoint?
Also, why is it that the intersection of two lines on seperate sketches can not be picked witht he cursor to make a curve/line?

Make sure the Selection Filter is not set to exclude midpoints.

The intersection of two lines can be selected. Make note of the cursor icon. It is not as obvious as other selected points which are highlighted orange.

Two seperate 3D sketches on the same surface....why can't I go Ref POints, Intersection, pick both 3D sketch lines, create point????
It says Rebuild errors, failed to create point
