Is this a late April Fool thing? Everyone seems to take it seriously.
Am I the only one that think it is a hoax?

I've never heard of it before and the information I see in a Google search all seems to come from dubious sources. So I agree it may very well be a hoax or publicity stunt. Not that some form of "powder alcohol" is impossible, just not of any true value or interest. Kind of like the fuss about 3D-printed guns.
