what are some very commonly stocked carbon structural hot rolled sheet/strip steel in sizes less than 3/16" thickness. grade can be 30,36 50 or anywhere in between but not above or below.

must be readily available as we are having problems find stuff like 11,12 and 14 gauge, 1/8" etc in these grades

I buy 36 and 50 10ga 12ga 14ga 16ga all the time, you shouldn't have any problem with their availability in the US. I've never tried to buy 30.

ameyerrenke, where do you buy it from? our procurement guys cant get it (so they say).

ASTM A36 structural steel is widely available in both hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheet and strip in thicknesses under 3/16 inch.
