question regarding projection of the edge of a cylinder and sweep cut
question regarding projection of the edge of a cylinder and sweep cut
(OP)
Hi all,
I have two questions when doing the experiments,
1. i try to let the vertical line be coincident with the edge of the cylinder (see picture 1), i tried to use project curve command but no result...
2. in the swept dialog, thre is an option called preserve shape (picture 2), I notice if i check it, the shape of the cross section will be EXACTLY the same as the sketch, OTHWRWISE, the swept shape will be a little different, am i correct?
3. i actually want to cut the sweep, as previous member suggested me to expand all options in dialog to see there is one can do my job. i didnt find it. is there any option to do sweep cut if I dont like to add another substraction step to finish my need?
