AutoCAD Drawing Locations

I am trying to define the default directory for AutoCAD 2000 to save and open drawings to as My Documents. I will then only need to click on or create a sub directory there. I cannot find how to do this. I should be pretty easy and I feel dumb for not finding it. Thanks

RE: AutoCAD Drawing Locations

If you want to open/save drawings in any drive/directory
or subdirectory, you can change the entry in your desktop
shortcut. For the "Start in:" entry, use any path you want
instead of the default that AutoCAD uses (\Program Files\ACAD2000\). You can also create another shortcut or
multiple shortcuts if you want to start in different directories.

Thanks,

That was too easy, I didn't think to approach it from that aspect. I was trying to change the path in AutoCAD.
