We are working in a SO2 remotion plant. For this reason we need a heat exchanger for wet SO2, but this gas is so corrosive. We need to Know what is the best material to hand it.

I think the Hastelloys can handle acid environment well..You better consult Nalco Handbook,or The Hedndrix Group web site at (www.hghouston.com/material.html)
