Free or Low-Price CMMS

Free or Low-Price CMMS

(OP)
A friend of mine is coming into proactive organization of maintenance department and is interested in entering the world of CMMS via some free or low-price software that will prove usefulness of implementing CMMS.
Maintenance depatment has about 30 craftworkers, two-shift work, food industry.
As I was working mostly with big systems I urge anybody to propose some USEFUL and IN-PRACTICE-PROVEN free or low-priced CMMS for such a beginner.

Thank you in advance.

RE: Free or Low-Price CMMS

2MAINTAIN has a version that might be interesting.  We offer a system called 2MAINTAIN LITE which has every feature found in our top line system.   The only difference is that we limit the number of units to be entered into the system for scheduled maintenance to 250 units.   That gives the smaller user the full benefits at an entry level price.   If the user wants to upgrade, we only need to send him a file which increases the number of units which can be scheduled.

Our website is 2MAINTAIN.COM

We look foward to your reply.

RE: Free or Low-Price CMMS

Hi there.  Silicon North, a Canadian Software Development team has teamed up with a qualified maintenance services company, (Advanced Maintenance Systems)

We are in development stages of a full CMMS package designed from the ground up to provide full plant wide integration as well as many extremely useful features.

This system is being designed with you in mind, your input will result in a future feature, and your critisism will result in a better package.  It's designed mainly by plant maintenance professionals in the field and superior software design.

The feature list is almost at publication level and will be posted soon.  If you would like more information, you are welcome to start a dialog with the development team here at Silicon North.

We design for the user, give them what they want.  Once in the field we dont go away, were with our product making it better and more streamlined to your needs.

AMS Page with all the features will be available very soon, if you would like to be reminded of our system simply reply to the above email.

RE: Free or Low-Price CMMS

Has anybody experience with a CMMS called "Rimses".  A sister company of ours uses it, but it costs approx. 75000 USD.  Is it worth that much or are there cheaper was.  The working staff contains 40 people, both mechanical, electrical and instrumentation.

RE: Free or Low-Price CMMS

Goodmorning,

I represent Real Software who is the owner, creator and distributor of Rimses.

Which sister company you are talking about?
Licenses and implementation cost depend on the size of the technical department.  I'am sure that in your case the final price will be lower.
Can we have contact on this subject?

Hoping to hear from you soon,
With complements,

JF

RE: Free or Low-Price CMMS

Our company uses quickmaint, it is a reliable maintenance software for fairly cheap, they have a free trial if you wanna try it out.
