Converting V4 drawings to PDF, TIFF or similar - macros?

Converting V4 drawings to PDF, TIFF or similar - macros?

(OP)
Hello,

Please can someone advise me upon the best way to approach this problem.
I have a large number of drawings that I need to convert from V4 into a more friendly format, preferably TIFF but PDF is acceptable also.
I have done a few batch conversions using the CAT Utilities PLMV4ToV5Migration and then Batch-DXF-IGES-STEP. However the only workable format I can get with these is DXF, which produces a large filesize.

I have thousands of drawings to convert, and although PLMV4ToV5Migration will let me select a whole directory, Batch-DXF-IGES-STEP wont. so the whole process quickly becomes manual and converting twice is messy...

Are there any Macros that within V5 could convert V4 .model files to TIFF or PDF?
As mentioned previously, i have THOUSANDS of these to convert, and assistance with this is much appreciated.

Regards

RE: Converting V4 drawings to PDF, TIFF or similar - macros?

Haha reminds me of a time when I had to manually convert V4 .session data into .dxf.
I believe there were about 3500 files in total.

Fun fun, think about fun. it's Friday. (at least, it should be.)
