ACI 318-08 Appendix D: Anchors in a row

ACI 318-08 Appendix D: Anchors in a row

ACI 318-08 Appendix D: Anchors in a row

(OP)
Hey,

So I have a question about ACI 318 Appendix D.

When checking D6.2 the commentary on page 430 (318-08) states that, "One assumption of the distribution of forces indicates that half the shear would be critical on the front anchor and its projected area." Is this the case for infinite anchors in a row or only if two anchors are in a row? The image only shows 2 anchors, so it's hard to tell whether you can take a further reduction for more anchors or not (for instance, if I have 3 anchors can I take V/3).
