CPVC Mains - Longitudinal Sway Bracing

CPVC Mains - Longitudinal Sway Bracing

(OP)

I am having trouble finding a listed longitudinal sway brace for CPVC. Any suggestions?

RE: CPVC Mains - Longitudinal Sway Bracing

Just a general question or for a specific project?

If specific what kind of building / business is it going in?

RE: CPVC Mains - Longitudinal Sway Bracing

(OP)

It is a 4-storey woodframe residential building. I have a 2" CPVC main on 4" hangers (< 6" so don't need lateral bracing). I see no reason why CPVC would be excluded from requiring longitudinal bracing. If I require longitudinal bracing, what do I use?

RE: CPVC Mains - Longitudinal Sway Bracing

Does the seismic cable have listings for CPVC? That may be an option.
