Topological issue

Topological issue

Topological issue

(OP)
hello guys

i have an issue with PATRAN when running a session and try to mesh the solid, Patran comes with an error that said bad topology or geometry, i want to know if it has to be with Patran trying to mesh or with the model itself
i hope i make my self understand,
thanks for your response

RE: Topological issue

Hi,
What do you mean by running a session ?
About your error message, it means Patran does not manage to mesh your solid because your solid has a bad geometry or because you are trying to mesh with a topology that the mesher cannot solve.
To summarize, you have to be clearer about what you are doing.
What meshing options have you selected ? Do you need to use mesh seeds ?
About your solid, is it created by Patran or imported ? If so, from what format ?

Regards,
Fred
