Nonlinear Analysis

I want to do a nonlinear analysis(load-displacement) whit repeatedly load-unload in SAP2000. Can SAP plot a graphic of that? In this case I'm trying to do it just with a simple bar, I should get something like the attached image.

Thanks.

Someone here said me to use Link Elements... when I tried to do it that way where can I plot the full graphic? When I try to do it, it just happear me one load per time. Do I need to use hinges in link elements to get a nonlinear plastic analysis?

RE: Nonlinear Analysis

yes, you need to define and assign hinges, during the pus-over, whenever the moment reaches the plastic moment, a hinge will be triggered at that location.
more hinges, the slower to run. you can assign as many as you want, but it could slow the running. so we usuually asign hinges to the most probbale locations.

also, you need choose how the loads are re-distrubuted after hinges form( in push over load case definition)

Thank you, after i get the analysis donne I can see the push over graphic, can you say me how can I export those values? I can't find them in the tables values...

RE: Nonlinear Analysis

GO TO"display"-select"show static pushover curve-then select "display tables" from left upper corner of window showing the curve,
