Visualization of wires

Visualization of wires

(OP)
Dear collages of the forum,

I've got a question that I can't find how to resolve. What I want to do is to make a 3d representation of a wire section (on other software packages, such as SAP2000, is named as ). I want to represent on the Assembly module the wire like a 3d part. Is this possible to do? Thank you very much.

Regards,

Juan José

RE: Visualization of wires

In the View/assembly display options select 'render beam profile'.

Dear Corus,

Thank you very much for your answer, but I have tried to do what you say and I haven't got any results. Is it necessary to do anything else?

Regards,
3JC

RE: Visualization of wires

Make sure you have a beam profile assigned in the property section.

Dear corus,

Thank you very much, the problem is resolved yet. I don't know why, but the configuration of the model broke down and there were not any section assigned to the wire.

Thank you very much anyway.

Regards,

Juan José
