Is anyone aware of a 2.4 kv 400 A contactor that is the same footprint as the old GE Limitamps? Ours have underground motor leads that stub up in the front left corner. All of the new ones I find have motor leads in the rear. These starters are 26" wide which is another issue. Thanks for any leads.

RE: 2.4 kv Limitamp Replacement

Likely any vacuum contactor will be significantly smaller than an ols Limit Amp air contactor if that's what you have.

You would think that it would be easy to find a drop in replacement cell for LimitAmps since there are a lot of them out there. However, Eaton's offering is 36" wide which will not work. Having the motor leads come up in front is also a problem. I thought someone must make a clean retrofit for them.
