if i make a chamfer in a solid. remove all parameters of the solid as shown in pic#1

i now try to replace (green) a face with the chamfer (red) it keeps the chamfer as shown in pic#2

The 'problem' is that the 'chamfer' face still thinks it's a chamfer despite the fact that all the features have been removed. You can verify this by using the Synchronous Modeling function, 'Label Chamfer', and it will indicate that the 'chamfer' face is already labeled as a 'Chamfer'. So since it thinks it's a 'Chamfer' it will always end up as a small chamfer face when you perform the 'Replace Face' function. Note that we are planning to add a function which will explicitly remove the 'Chamfer' label, but until then you have two choices: You need to either completely remove the 'Chamfer' lebel by exporting a Parasolid version of the model and reopening it as a new NX part file. At that point the 'Chamfer' label will have been removed and the 'Replace Face' function will now work as expected. The alternative is to not use 'Replace Face' at all, but rather use the 'Delete Face' function to remove the side faces.
Anyway, give it a shot as see if it works for you.

As simple as that solid was it should not have any trace of a chamfer? Other than the "parasolid" option this should not be happening.

As for the Delete Face issue, I forgot to mention that you need to use the 'Cap Face' option where you select the Chamfer as the 'Cap Face'.
