Connection problem

Connection problem

(OP)
Dear all,

I have a problem with a scissor unit I want to model. In fact I connect two box beams (made out of shell finite elements) with a hinge connector type. I apply a concentrated load at an upper point of the two beams. However, my model doesn't work. The message file gives a warning: there are 3 unconnected regions in the model. Is it possible to connect a shell element model by a hinge connection type to another shell element model? I thank you in advance for your help.

Greetz
