Pipe Trunnion Weld Design

(OP)
I am designing a steel pipe trunnion which is being welded to the face of a W-shape column. Does anybody have a good reference for designing a circular fillet weld between the column and pipe for the eccentric force at the end of the trunnion?

RE: Pipe Trunnion Weld Design

Take a look at Blodgett's method of treating the weld (group) as a line and working out the stresses then AISC J2.
