hello,

i will apply two processes to one joint, one of them is SMAW , the other is SAW. i hope to apply smaw for first run then, fill up by saw.
But, smaw weld (first run) will be removed by gouging.

Do i prepare combination WPS? if no, please tell me where mention it as interpretation or codes.

Yes, you will need to prepare a combination WPS,

You will also need to be familiar with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX.

The WPS can be supported with seperate SMAW and SAW PQRs.

Weldstan. Where in Sect IX says that combination is not a combination. IMy AI will not accept separate PQRs but a combination.
