ASME B 31.3 PAR 304.7.2

ASME B 31.3 PAR 304.7.2

(OP)
Good morning Sir,
I'd like to know for a equal TEE (fittings) 64" if it's possible to design Asme B31.3
according to the unlisted component paragraph 304.7.2 using proof test Asme B16.9/MSSSP75 or FEA Asme VIII div.2 sec.5.
Reason is redoucing the body thickness of component against design by formula as per par 304.3.4 of the code.

Regards
Giovanni

To get a 64" Equal Tee to ASME B16.9 will be very costly. I think you should consider this carefully!!!

Well it's quite standard dor us, maximum size for my company is equal tee 120"
just we'd like to save raw material to build the tee 64" using FEA or proof test
but we are not sure Asme B31.3 allow it considering the tee as per unlisted component.
