nx 8.5 pmi's in view from part.

nx 8.5 pmi's in view from part.

nx 8.5 pmi's in view from part.

(OP)
I want to do a view from part in a assembley drawing, using a view from one of its components containing PMIs.
I found a workaround by switching the ANT Icon with a sheet from the component to reference set entire part.
Is there a setting to force view from part to refence set entire part, cause of the PMIs?

sorry new in NX
regards
Erwin

RE: nx 8.5 pmi's in view from part.

It sounds as though you just need to make the PMI visible in the view. In Model Views in the Part Navigator the PMI will be listed under the view where it was created. To show in other views right click on the PMI and select Display/In Views, then select the required view.
In the drawing you will also need edit the View Style setting to inherit the PMI from the model (Inherit PMI tab).
