Export Spot Weld Point Info from Catia

Export Spot Weld Point Info from Catia

(OP)
Hi Folks,

I need some guidelines/tips from the experts/users of CATIA:

I have a query in Catia. I am facing issues while exporting spot weld point info from Catia. Detailed Description is given below:

In Catia I have:

1. An Assembly with spot weld points (~180).
2. Spot weld points are not created with ABF format. Spot weld points are created manually with a macro and is
represented as 3d points (Datum Points).
3. The points are located in geometric sets with Joining part Info (Part info in the form of Part number: 2 part
,3 part spot weld etc).

My Objective:

I need to extract:

-> 3D points (X,Y and Z locations/coordinates)

-> Most Important: The Joining Part Info (2 part connection or 3 part Connection etc)

How can we extract the above 2 info from Catia?? I require the output in the form of *.xls or *.txt or *.XML or *.vip or *.vip2 or Spot weld Connector file formats??

Is it possible to get some script?? (*.CATscript or *.catvba or *.catvbs)

Can anyone pls help me in this issue??

RE: Export Spot Weld Point Info from Catia
