How to assign shell wind loads on etabs?

(OP)
Hi, I am having trouble assigning winds loads to shell areas on ETABS 2013. I have defined the wind load in the load patterns. I have then highlighted the area I want to apply the wind load, then assigned shell loads, then wind pressure coefficient, but it only displays the wind coefficient and not the load from the wind. For example if I set the wind coefficient as 0.9, it shows 0.9W(0.000) acting on the area of the building. The wind force is always 0. How can I apply the wind aswell? Thanks in advance.

RE: How to assign shell wind loads on etabs?

Well, first create dummy wall sections upon which wind loads would be applied.you can do this by draw>draw area obj>create areas then select NONE on the property edit backs. After that you can assign wind loads to your dummy walls
