Concrete for saltwater post anchorings
Concrete for saltwater post anchorings
(OP)
Hello,
I am looking for a readily available concrete(or additive) that would work in a tidal area. I am securing posts about 2-3 feet down in muck- similar to how you would install a fence pole. I only have about 7 hours to do the job before the tide sweeps in and so I may need a quick setting type too. Any thoughts? Thanks!

RE: Concrete for saltwater post anchorings
I'd contact CPD, Sika, etc, whatever is local. This is dependant more on where you are and what is available than what the "best" product would be.
Oh, and muck does not sound promising for a post-hole. I've not done a lot of Marine work, but what I've heard of piers, etc, which you want to found without driving is that they are interconnected with a grade-beam style of underwater works. Never done this myself.
