Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone knew why when you (replace component) in NX6 the component Property name does not update requiring you to right click on the part and edit the properties name section so the name in the properties matches the new file name?

Yes I have icons that look just like the ones you sent. The little purple arrow with the folded paper

Check the settings at the bottom of the replace component dialog, I believe there's an option there for controlling it.

Yes your right thank you. I noticed with single parts I needed to update the component name in the setttings dialog manually. But assembly parts came in with the correct name. Thanks again another mystery solved
