Line or cable charging current

Line or cable charging current

Line or cable charging current

(OP)
Should we have to consider capacitance to earth or interphases capacitance for computing line/cable charging current? What is meant by zero sequence charging current?

RE: Line or cable charging current

bholas,
In order to calculate the charging current of the system you have to add phase to ground capacitances of all connected cables and then multily by 3.

RE: Line or cable charging current

(OP)
Will this give us zero sequence charging current or positive sequence charging?
