ANSYS not detecting contact

(OP)
Please help! I am working on modeling a three point bend test of a wood laminate in ANSYS with ACP. My problem doesn't lie in the ACP part, however.. I am having trouble with ANSYS recognizing the contacts between the specimen and the bottom supports. At first I imported the bottom supports and the top plate from Creo as an IGS file and modeled the specimen in ANSYS as a surface body. When the connections with the bottom supports didn't work, I modeled the bottom supports as surface bodies as well, but the connections are still not working and the specimen just sinks down as a whole from the force on the plate. Can anyone please help???

I am trying to include a picture of my setup and one of the total deformation solution, but that's not working either!

Thank you!!

Alex Sandra
