Surge tank design

Surge tank design

Surge tank design

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I work in the field of electric vehicles and i am currently designing an electric bus prototype.

To do so, i would need to find or design a surge tank for the heater fluid that is used to heat the vehicle cockpit and windshield.

The only thing I know is that this tank volume should be of 4.5 gallons. I really don't know that much about surge tanks and don't have that much time allocated to this task.

That is why i am opening this subject in order to receive advices and/or experiences feedbacks of yours, and maybe a company contact that would be able to supply it or design it for me.

Thank you in advance,

Gaël Mendes.
