Ordinate with Arrows

Ordinate with Arrows

Ordinate with Arrows

(OP)
Hello. I use ordinate dimensions usually with no issues. But for some unknown reason, an arrow between the "0" origin and the dimension extension line started showing up. Also, this arrow has a circle at the origin as though it were a radius point. Need help finding the setting to remove the arrow. Thanks.

RE: Ordinate with Arrows

what version of NX are you on ?

RE: Ordinate with Arrows

(OP)
nx9.0.1.3

RE: Ordinate with Arrows

Leave the Ordinate dialog and then select the on-screen name of your Ordinate Dimension set, press MB3, select Settings and then select the 'Ordinate' item. You should see that the 'Show Dimension Line' option is toggled ON. Toggle it OFF and hit Close.

Now to make sure this doesn't happen again, open you Drawing template file(s), and go to Drafting Preferences and change this setting there and then save your template file(s). If you don't use Drawing template files then you'll need to go to Customer Defaults and change this setting there as well.
