I am working in a Valve company and my customer is asking Monel casting M35-1 grade with NACE MR0175 (2009) compliance. Have read this standard and found nothing related to Monel M35-1 grade.

Older version of year 2000 specify compliance to MR0175 with max HRC 35 (hardness)

Can we certify Safety Relief Valve Body casting M35-1 (Monel) to NACE Mr0175/ISO 15156

RE: NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 (2009) compliance to Monel Casting M35-1

Such certification cannot be provided with the above information for two reasons:

1. Compliance will depend upon detailed knowledge of the temperature, H2S partial pressure, chloride concentration, pH and elemental sulphur content of the fluid to which the material will be exposed

2. UNS N24315 is not listed in ISO 15156-3
