Thread problem for a Stripper Mold?
Thread problem for a Stripper Mold?
(OP)
Can someone inform me about the angles, pitches and depths of threads to use in my stripper mold design in order to keep the thread profile safe while stripping action?

Although some may think that unscrewing is better, there is nothing faster than stripping parts off.
There are several factors that you have to take into acount:
1.- Thickness of walls
2.- Diameter of part (the more the better)
3.- Material (softer is better)
4.- Threads are usually round or slanted to one side
5.- Ejection temperature of parts
6.- Can you use demoldant
I usually use a stripper plate.
First I usually test with one core to see how deep I can make the threads (a little testing because of all the variables).

Is it male or female thread.
Split blocks can be almost as fast as a stripper plate and much easier to predict if it is male thread..
If it is female thread, poppet valve and air might help it jump the thread without damage
