API 12F Inbreathing requirement

API 12F Inbreathing requirement

(OP)
Does anyone know if the 12th edition of API 12F changed the thermal inbreathing requirement to be consistent with the 6th edition API 2000 calculation which is much more conservative than the previous method based on tank capacity?

RE: API 12F Inbreathing requirement

The inbreathing requirement in the 12D and 12F tanks are currently not in harmony with API 2000. This is something I expect to have corrected in the version that should go to ballot this year. Were I selling 12F tanks now, I would make sure that they meet the inbreathing requirements of API 2000.
