Problem defining path by feature edge

Problem defining path by feature edge

Problem defining path by feature edge

(OP)
Hi,

I'm an ABAQUS beginner.

I'm analyzing a cylindrical model and I'm trying to define a path on it's external surface to plot stress/path curve.

My problem is I can't do so by using the (feature edge) option. The only way to set path is by (individually) option and it's not efficient.

When I use the (feature edge), it only draws the path on the circular edge of the cylinder's ends and not the surface.

Any idea how to fix this?

PS: I was able to successfully use this option on the same model before but that was before I partition it to 4 parts.

Thanks.
