Any suggestions for a basic steel design text utilizing LRFD?

I just checked Schaum's Outlines site and they still have the "Structural Steel Design (LRFD)" by Rokach that I've had since 1991. They are still re-publishing the same Edition so I'd be getting nothing new here.

Is this Schaum's sufficient to get me through the current edition of AISC combined ASD/LRFD Specification, or is it too out-of-date?

RE: text for AISC LRFD ?

Download the AISC Design Examples publication from the AISC website. Lots of good examples for both member design and connection design. This publication is better than any textbook because it covers practical examples and it is kept up to date with the current AISC Specification.

RE: text for AISC LRFD ?

If you only need a "basic" structural steel text, "LRFD Steel Design" by William T. Segui will likely suffice. For something more advanced and much better, in my opinion, I recommend "Steel Structures: Design and Behavior", 5th edition, by Salmon, Johnson, and Malhas.

RE: text for AISC LRFD ?

I'll add a second to the S,J and M text.
