Change Time Interval in Paired Data of HEC-HMS

Change Time Interval in Paired Data of HEC-HMS

(OP)
Hello,
New to the forum, did a quick search and didn't see an answer to my particular problem.

I'm using HEC-HMS 4.0 and I'm trying to input a user specified unit hydrograph. The time interval is set at 15min, but my data is at 1hr intervals. HEC defaults to the 15min interval and I can't figure out how to change it. Please help.

Thanks.
-Bill

RE: Change Time Interval in Paired Data of HEC-HMS

Bill,

You might be able to use a Discharge Gage in the Time-Series data which will allow you specify the time interval of your choosing and specify the associated discharges.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Components/Time-series data manager/Precipitation gages/new

Then

In the Times-series Gage you can specify the Time Interval from 1 min to 1 day.
Then enter it in the Table.

Thanks for the tips everyone, I ended up just interpolating the data I had to 15 min intervals.
