Fixing the useless coordinate system

Fixing the useless coordinate system

Fixing the useless coordinate system

(OP)
This is a question for the ex-Pro/E users I suppose.

A Pro/E coordinate system, when mated to another coordinate system has an origin, an offset in X, Y and Z and a rotation about X, Y and Z.

It would be really handy to have these 6-degrees of freedom in Solidworks but the developers seem to think zero degrees is adequate. Does anyone have an example file where they have created a system of reference geomeries that can replicate this functionality? I have tried multiple different configurations of points, planes and axes with a CSYS attached to them and all have fell over when it comes to a rotation in more than one axis.

Any help, even a pointer in the right direction would be greatly welcomed, I'm starting to pull my hair out.

Thanks,
