How Can I Import Hypermesh "Components" as "Groups" into Patran

How Can I Import Hypermesh "Components" as "Groups" into Patran

(OP)
Hello again.

I have a complex modelling task, I have divided my Hypermesh model in to various components to help organise the model. When I import to Patran, I can create groups by Properties, which is useful. However, is there a way I can maintain my original Component groups from Hypermesh when I import into Patran (The component groups are more numerous than the number of different properties)?

Any advice on this subject would be most appreciated.

Kind regards,

R

Make some SETs from COMPONENT within Hypermesh. Export it into NASTRAN and then import into PATRAN, maybe this help?
