Fitting DIN 11851

Fitting DIN 11851

Fitting DIN 11851

(OP)
I am manufacturing two vessels according ASME VIII Div. 1 (U stamp + National board) and some openings are made by fittings according to DIN 11851 rules. For the opening calculation I have no problem and I think that fitting DIN 11851 cannot be considered quick openings, but how can I calculate this type of fitting? Standard DIN 11851 is not recognised by ASME and is not a flange! Someone suggest me to use Appendix 24 but this type of fitting is not a real clamp connection.

Please help me

Best Regards and many thanks in advance

AMinati
