measure distance from origin workbench 14

measure distance from origin workbench 14

(OP)
Hello,
I'm in the process of converting myself from classic to workbench. I'm trying to measure the position of a few points of a model in relation to the origin. The model was created in CAD and then imported into spaceclaim and then workbench, I'm trying to confirm that the geometry has been imported correctly.
Many thanks
George

RE: measure distance from origin workbench 14

Hi George,

I don't remember if you can measure directly the distance from origin, but you have two easy ways to do that :
- create a point at origin and select this point and the one your want to measure, Workbench will display the distance between the two points at the bottom of the windows
- select the point you want, and check at the bottom of the window the coordinates of your point, you can then have the distance from origin with them.

Regards,

Orel
