Heads for Hydrostatic Testing

(OP)
Hello.

I have a little problem and you can help me.

Which is the applicable standard for desing and build heads for hydrostatic testing process lines as lines of surface facilities?

The tests were carried out with water at room temperature, preferably at night.

Thanks for the cooperation provided

RE: Heads for Hydrostatic Testing

What do you mean by "heads" ??

Normally you would simply use the same code you are building the rest of your system to, but if you mean the hydrostatic test equipment itself, you should use the test pressure as your design (maximum working) pressure as it will see this pressure time and time again and hence will need to be made of thicker pipe / higher rated flanges etc.

My motto: Learn something new every day

Also: There's usually a good reason why everyone does it that way
